Information
Since 1983 being the head of the department of import - export of the committee of the system of press of RA I have taken part in the exhibition of " International Book Fare" in Moscow as the head of Armenian pavilion. In 1989 during the exhibition the meeting with the head of the USA pavilion was positively businesslike and our negotiations took place in November of the same year. In November in Yerevan children's book exhibition took place in the library named after Khnko Aper, which was opened by John Metlock the USA ambassador in the USSR in the presence of the members of the government of RA. The exhibition lasted about a month and at the end all the books were presented to the library. I appeal the ambassadors in RA, separate publishing houses and other non-governmental organizations to support and help us to organize exhibitions like that, with the slogan "Book Festival In Armenia", which can become traditional and which will support the exchange of the Armenian and foreign literature, as well as the advertisement of the books and their spreading for the cooperating parts.
