Association is searching for sponsors to help organize enrichment of libraries of colonies, prisons, orphanage, military units and distant schools.
International Book Festeval - Paris, 2012
Association has planned to organize "Book Festival" in Armenia separately presenting foreign countries for which negotiations were held with the attache' of cultural affair of Russian Federation, Germany and China. The negotiations had a positive course and some actions are being done to realize the festival. The very goal of the Festival is to encourage the desire of the advanced youth to learn new languages.
Armenian Association of Advertisement & Spreading of Books have decided to publish children literature under the rubric "Merry tales before sleeping". These are Armenian folklore and tales of Armenian writers in the languages of the world. First book "Barekendan" (in Armenian), i.e. "Carnival", published in Russian, English, Spanish and Indian in 2007. (Book title page 1, Book title page 2, Book page 1, Book page 2)
On August 24, 2004 an exhibition and selling of books took place in Martuni, dedicated to the beginning of the school-year, and some 40 books were presented to orphans.
On June 1, 2004 on the Child's Defence Day the association visited the colony of women and under-aged and presented 320 volumes of books to the library of the prison.
In March-April 2004 specialized exhibitions were held dedicated to Education and Health where association represented the corresponding literature.
In October 2003 a "Pan Armenian Economic Assembly " took place where the association displayed a separate stand, presenting newly published literature.
In the summer of 2003 the association participated in "Armenia-Expo 2003" presenting the publishing houses of Yerevan.
In Spring-Summer 2003 "Armenian Association of Book Advertising and Distributing" together will the Armenian National Library organized presentation of newly published books in Yerevan, Hrazdan and other cities.
At December 8, 2002, at 14-th Anniversary of the Great Eartquake 1988, The Armenian Association of Advertisement and sell of� the books, organized
for the Benevolent goals a Book�s Exhibition is Spitac � in newly erected Bailding of Chamber of �Culture where is also the City�s Library.
In Exhibition the Publishing Houses of Yerevan and Gjumri had represented about 250 books.
As distinct from the previous Exhibitions, all represented books were gifted to City�s School Libraries.
The Directors of Libraries had expressed Gratitudes to Organizers for this pleasante Surprise.� The Visitors, especially Schools had expressed their Pleasure for this Beutiful Measure and asked to Organizers to� organize in next year also the Sell of the books in foreign languages � published locally or imported.
The Directors of Libraries had expressed a writted gratitute to the Organizers and to the Publishing Houses.
